About the Artist
Nancy Bulluck is a traditional artist with a contemporary flair. Working in watercolors, oils, acrylics, encaustics, and mixed media, she is a dedicated painter with over thirty years of growing experience. Her work resides internationally, in both public and private collections.
Inspired by her anthropology and sociology degrees, Nancy turned to painting as a way to investigate relationships -- between light, texture, form, and subject.
She has furthered her studies under a range of contemporary influences: Robert E. Wood, Charles Reid, Morris Shubin, Ruth Ogle, Miles Batt, Don Andrews, Alex Powers, Skip Lawrence, Roger Bechtold, and Keith Rose.
Nancy has participated in a long list of invitational and juried shows, including a number of solo exhibitions. She holds professional memberships with numerous organizations.
Her work is collected by numerous institutions, including Duke Hospital, Wingate University Art Center, R.J. Reynolds, Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of America, Belk Corporation, and many others.
